Enabling us to undertake research and collect information about the affects of The Great War on the local community as a whole during the period from 1914-1918.
Much of this information has been presented in a series of exhibitions marking the centennary of key events.
It is provided here as a memorial to the period, available to individuals, families, schools and community groups so that they can search for free in order to find out more about the effects of the War in relation to the lives of real local people and our town.
